Homestead Honey’s
Gather with Us
Throughout the year, we offer opportunities to come together, learn new skills, and simply enjoy each other’s company. In the past, we’ve shared brunch, learned about growing luffa, made sourdough starters, and sipped a little wine while chatting about our hopes and dreams.
Every gathering looks a little different but they all have the same heart, connection, and encouragement.
Keep an eye out for what’s next, and don’t forget to join our Homestead Honeys Facebook group to stay connected between in-person events. That’s where the conversations, inspiration, and community really bloom.
A Homestead Honey is a woman rooted in self-sufficiency, creativity, and community. Whether she’s growing her first tomato, raising backyard chickens, crafting herbal salves, or mastering the art of sourdough. She’s finding her way in the rich and rewarding world of homesteading.
She’s resourceful, curious, and grounded in a deep love for nature and seasonal living. She shows up for her fellow women with encouragement, not competition, knowing we all have something to teach and something to learn.
A Homestead Honey isn’t defined by acreage or experience, she’s defined by her heart, her resourcefulness, and her willingness to grow.
We’re keeping this easy and relaxed. A community-style swap where you can bring seeds, plants, cuttings, books, recipes, or anything homestead-inspired you’re ready to pass along. Nothing fancy. Whether it’s a full tray of seedlings or a few seeds tucked in an envelope, it all has a place here.
We’ll lay everything out, enjoy the afternoon, chat, and browse what everyone brought in a laid-back, honor-system kind of way. No money, no pressure, just women sharing, trading, and building something good together.
What to bring (if you can):
Seeds (saved or store-bought)
Plant starts, cuttings, or divisions
Favorite cookbooks or homesteading books
Handwritten or printed recipes (and if you’re able, bring a dish to share along with it , nothing fancy, just something you love)
Any extra homestead goods (herbs, teas, etc.)
A few notes:
Label what you can (especially plants/seeds)
Bring a bag or basket to carry things home
Come as you are!
Please leave animals at home for this one
