Ready to take on Thanksgiving Dinner?!
In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of how to dispatch and process your own turkey. You will leave the class with a new set of skills and your bird packaged and ready for the table. This year we will be processing heritage breed turkeys. They are smaller than the traditional broad breasted turkeys, averaging 12-16 pounds in their first year and 20+ pounds when overwintered. However, the flavor is unmatched. Heritage breeds are great option for those wanting to keep a breeding group and sustainably raise turkeys for many years to come.
Cost: $100/person (Turkey included)
$150/per pair (includes 1 turkey)
