Small space? No problem.
If you are wanting to live a life more connected to the land, but aren’t really sure where to start, this is the workshop for you. Whether you are trying to learn new skills in your apartment or have recently purchased land, the topics discussed in this workshop will help guide you as you take your next steps. You will define your priorities and think critically about what you can do in the space that you currently have, rather than waiting for the “perfect” property. We will also review what to consider when deciding to add animals to your homestead, what and where to plant, and creating systems to get it all done. This is a great introductory course, that is best suited for those who are just beginning their homesteading journey or thinking through how to expand their operation.
This is a great introductory course, for those who are just beginning their homesteading journey as well as a good option for those that may be more seasoned and thinking about expanding or adding to their homesteading operation. This workshop is a helpful precursor to processing workshops. If you have taken any of my online animal stewardship courses or plan to, this is a great opportunity to see the space in person.
Note: Please dress appropriately for the weather. We will be outside and standing for a large portion of the workshop. You will be provided with a small binder for note taking and planning. This workshop is best suited for an adult audience, please no children under the age of 16.
